Student Support

We’re inviting British students from racial or religious minority backgrounds to join a focus group to share their experiences with the University’s central Student Support services, including the Racial and Religious Discrimination Adviser (RRDA).

The RRDA supports students affected by racial or religious discrimination or violence, at any stage in their lives.

The focus group will aim to:

  • Look at the barriers that may prevent students from these backgrounds from accessing our services.
  • Discuss how well the RRDA service meet the needs of the students it is intended to support.

Key details:

  • We expect the group will meet at least once during Easter Term 2025.
  • Meetings will be scheduled for 120 minutes and held in person in the Student Services Centre.
  • You will be compensated for your time in meetings at a rate of £15 per hour.
  • You do not need to have accessed our services in the past to be eligible for the focus group.

To apply, please contact Mahsa Zohhadi, Project and Policy Associate, at info@studentsupport.cam.ac.uk by 23:59 on Wednesday 14 May.
